Had been to Pokhara on one occasion before, this visit was accompanied by family for four nights and five days. Pokhara Grande sounded alluring. We were greeted with a smile and a cordial Namaste first up. The bellhop tended to our bags with alacrity. Throughout our stay the service was consistent. The rooms where comfy and the food was delectable. My young sister devoured her cake in a flash and threw a bit of a tantrum when denied for more; much to our surprise this too wasn’t unbeknownst to the attendant who consoled her with tact not many could match. We also enjoyed a bit of a punt at the casino but left the place feeling it could be modernized a touch further.

Beautiful setting, loved the garden. Hotel is at a convenient distance from the lake and airport. Rooms were neat and comfortable; great views and personnel were warm and courteous. Restaurant menu had quite a wide selection and was confronted with a lot of choices, going for something locals ate was my plan and kudos to the chef, it was every bit worth it.
